This is the largest market between Pontassieve and La Verna. There are no other markets within the Casentino Forest (Stages 4-6), so this is a great place to stock up on supplies and toiletries.
Fully-stocked supermarket just about 10-minute walk from the town center. Good place to grab made-to-eat salads or nuts and snacks. There are no other markets between Stia and La Verna, so it’s a good idea to pick up supplies for whatever you need. Note the operating hours. Coop, an Italian supermarket chain. This is a great place to stock up on hiking snacks, toiletries and personal care items.
