The Ospitale di Ama is located next to the 12th century church Chiesa di San Biagio. The donativo is about 3km from the center of Stia, nearly in the middle between Stia and Lonnano.

Ama lives and works, according to the Christian spirit of the ancient companies or brotherhoods, thanks to contributions and legacies.

Situated in one of the most scenic forested areas of the Casentino region, the property offers stunning views of the entire valley, castles, and the Pratomagno ridge.

Pilgrims can stay in one of five dormitory-style rooms with multiple beds, and two communal kitchens to prepare their own meals. There are four bathrooms with three showers, and a communal living room. There is also central heating.

The Ospitale operates on a donation basis.
